01What reselling links actually means
A link building reseller is an agency that sells link building under its own name and buys the fulfilment from a wholesaler. Your client briefs you, you brief us, we place links on real publications, and the report goes back up the chain with your logo on it or no logo at all. The client sees your agency doing the work. That is the product: not software, not a course, just links delivered wholesale with your name on the outside.
02The margin, in actual numbers
Our rates run from £400 per link at 5+ a month down to £325 at 20+. The going retail rate for the same standard of placement is £550 to £700 per link, and the recommended retail prices are blunt: £3,500 a month for 5 links at £700 each, £5,500 for 10 at £550, £10,000 for 20 at £500. Sell at those numbers and you keep £300 a link at the entry tier, £200 at 10+, £175 at 20+. In monthly money that is £1,500, £2,001 and £3,501 of margin for the effort of forwarding two emails and a report. The full tier table is on the wholesale pricing page.
Compare the alternative. An in house outreach hire costs £30,000 plus before they have sent a pitch, and they still need tools, training and management. Wholesale means your cost scales with what you actually sell.
03Who this suits
SEO agencies with retainers who currently cap what they promise because fulfilment is the bottleneck. Performance marketing shops whose clients keep asking about links. Web design studios adding SEO as a second line. Freelance consultants with more demand than hours. The common thread: you already own client relationships and you would rather sell more into them than build an outreach function from scratch.
Who it does not suit: anyone shopping for 500 links at £2 each, or anyone who wants to promise their client a specific newspaper by Friday. We do not guarantee named publications and neither should you. Read the standards before you pitch anything downstream.
04The white label mechanics
Reports come unbranded by default, or carry your logo if you send one. Every client sits in its own campaign, fully separated. We sign an NDA on request. We never contact your clients, and we keep no public list of the agencies we serve, so your client cannot reverse engineer the supply chain by browsing our site. If they ask who does the work, the honest answer is the one every agency uses: a specialist fulfilment team.
05Reselling it well
Two habits separate resellers who keep clients from resellers who churn them. First, price per link and quote ranges, not miracles: your client should hear DR 40 to 95 real publications, first placements inside 2 to 3 weeks, links landing across the month. Second, pass our honesty downstream: no guaranteed rankings, no guaranteed outlets, replacements within the following month if a link comes down. Sell it exactly as we sell it to you, with your markup attached, and the account renews itself.
Q+AQuestions we get on email
- Do you have a minimum to start reselling?
- The rate card starts at 5 links a month. If you want a smaller first order to test us, email and ask; we would rather prove the product than argue about the floor.
- Will you ever poach my client?
- No. We never contact your clients, we sell wholesale only, and an NDA is available on request. Poaching clients would kill the entire reseller model we run on.
- What should I charge my clients?
- Charge £550 to £700 a link, which is the going retail rate. Recommended retail by month: £3,500 for 5 links, £5,500 for 10, £10,000 for 20. Your market may bear more; our rate is the same either way.
